For most Tiny Tots, this is their first time away from mom and dad, so working on coming to school with no tears is a big deal in this program! We work on socialization and social skills with them, as well as potty training. Tiny Tots do LOTS of crafts and they are mostly centered on the letter, number, color, shape or theme we are working on for the month. We also include Religion in our every day classes and always say our prayer before meal times. Tiny Tots have a circle time each day, where they learn to sit together and listen to a story or sing a song! They also begin to practice how to lineup and walk in a line. Tiny Tot classrooms have a teacher as well as an aide.
Our Super Tots work on letters, numbers, colors, shapes and monthly themes. Religion is also a large part of our day and we make sure to pray before our meals. Through daily lessons, we practice name recognition, prewriting skills, letter sounds, fine and gross motor skills, as well as many self-help skills (like putting on their own coats or opening their own snacks). We also practiced skills that will help them in their future classrooms. Each day Super Tots have circle time. During this time, we not only learn and discuss the weather, calendar and daily lessons, but we also practice sitting criss-cross, waiting for our turn to talk and being good listeners. We continue to practice walking in a line, and you can often see our Super Tots on walks around the campus! Super Tot classrooms have a teacher, as well as an aide (please note, the aide may float between two classrooms).
To Register for our Little Saints Program, please print out the Registration Packet and return it to the school (you can either drop it off or mail it in), along with the Processing Fee ($25) and Supply Fee that corresponds to the number of days attending. Please note, in the event that a class fills up, your child will be placed on our waiting list. Enrolled students will receive a Welcome Packet packet over the summer (typically at the beginning of August), with information about Orientation and Tuition. Our tuition is a yearly rate, which we can be paid in full or broken into smaller payments (Sept-May) for your convenience.
Thank you for your interest in our school and we hope to see you in September and remember,
IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE A LITTLE SAINT!
