Principal’s Message for 11/10/19

This week’s Principal’s Message deals with my “favorite” time of year, recruitment and enrollment season.  That’s right; next week kicks off the beginning of next year’s enrollment drive.  You may be asking yourself, “the school year is just over two months old and we are already thinking about next year?”  The answer to that question is an absolute “YES”!  Saint Mary School will be having a Fall Open House on Wednesday, November 13 ^th, at 9:00-10:30 am and 6:30-8:30 pm.  Many of our present students and families attended the Fall Open House last year and have been positive additions to our school in all areas.  Therefore, we decided that this was a great way to let people know about our school and the many wonderful opportunities offered here before the onset of the holidays and all the busyness that comes with them.
 
I want to provide you all with some specifics about our school to share with your families and friends who might be interested in attending SMS.  Saint Mary School has a rich tradition in the Middletown community.  It has been, and still is, an excellent Catholic school, living up to its mission that reads:
 
“At Saint Mary School, our mission is to assist parents in teaching their children how to live the Gospel message of Jesus Christ and to prepare them for future education by teaching essential skills.
